AceShowbiz - Britney Spears is reconnecting with a person from her past, but it's none of her family members. Amid her strained relationship with her father Jamie Spears, who used to be her co-conservator, the pop icon has reportedly met with her ex Jason Trawick.
Per TMZ's report, the singer spent time with her ex-fiance and former co-conservator Jason during her recent trip to Las Vegas. The 42-year-old visited Sin City last week with her brother Bryan Spears.
According to sources, the two Spears siblings are still close with Jason, so when they hit the town, they reached out to him and said they would love to catch up. Jason, who currently lives in Vegas, allegedly met Britney on at least one occasion, at Resorts World Las Vegas.
Despite the sweet reunion, it's said that there's nothing romantic going on between Britney and Jason right now, with the sources noting that it's just friendly. However, much like fans, some people close to the "Toxic" singer are cautiously optimistic about a possible romantic reunion in the future.
Jason was a huge rock in her life while she was still put under conservatorship. The pair started dating in 2009 after he initially became her agent. They got engaged in December 2011, but split in January 2013.
Britney's reunion with Jason comes amid her controversial relationship with Paul Soliz, which worried her family and fans due to his criminal records. The felon, who has a record of misdemeanors and at least one felony, including a December 2022 charge for firearm possession, was said to be "running her household and her life."
Their volatile relationship culminated in an alleged altercation at Chateau Marmont on May 1, during which she injured her foot. She, however, played down the incident, denying that she had a fight with her boyfriend and shut down rumors of alleged mental breakdown.
