AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez may not need Jennifer Garner's advice amid her and Ben Affleck's rumored marital woes. The singer/actress reportedly "hates" that her husband "confides" to his first wife about their relationship issues.

"Everyone knows that Ben and Jen remained very close after their divorce. He confides in Jen about everything, even his issues with J.Lo," a so-called insider told Life & Style (via RadarOnline.com). "J.Lo hates that Ben goes back to his sensible, down-to-earth ex-wife for advice and emotional support. She doesn't want Jen's input."

The source said that the Bronx native asked Garner to stay out of her and Affleck's issues, though she allegedly remains respectful. "J.Lo didn't come right out and tell Jen to back off - both women have been down this road before and know their boundaries - but she did tell Ben that his ex needs to stay away from him and butt out of their personal drama," the source claimed. "Ben then relayed the message to Jen."

However, insiders close to J.Lo denied the report without further explanation.

The new report contradicted previous story which claimed that J.Lo herself confided to Garner amid her and Affleck's rocky marriage. "J.Lo has been confiding in Jen because she knows that she is one of the only people in the world who would understand what she is going through," a source told Daily Mail in May.

Garner reportedly wanted to help save Lopez and Affleck's young marriage as she values the stabilizing force Lopez can be in her ex-husband's life. "Jen does not want Ben to pull the plug on this marriage because she really does care about J.Lo," the so-called insider dished. "She did go to his house to talk to him about this and to try and keep the two of them together."

"J.Lo was told several times by Jen how valued she is in all their lives. She is one of the only women who can get through to Ben and keep him from jumping off the deep end with his addiction," the source added as there has been a growing concern that he might relapse amid the marital issues.

Meanwhile, J.Lo and Affleck continue to put on a united front. On Sunday, June 2, the pair stepped out with the actor's mother Chris in Santa Monica. The married spouses, however, couldn't hide their awkwardness as they shared air kisses over real smooches during the outing.
