The star's fans, known as Beyhives, are convinced that the 'Cowboy Carter' artist will soon make an announcement of a residency, thanks to a cryptic post by Live Nation Vegas.

AceShowbiz - Beyonce Knowles may be heading for a Las Vegas residency. The star's fans, known as Beyhives, were convinced that the "Cowboy Carter" artist will soon make an announcement of a residency, thanks to a cryptic post by Live Nation Vegas.

On Sunday, June 2, the account teased a "big announcement." Alongside a photo of a silhouetted figure wearing a cowboy attire, the account wrote in the caption, "Vegas, hold your horses…wild horses that is! Big announcement coming tomorrow!"

Catching wind of the post, an excited fan, "BEYONCEEEEEEE." Another added, "OMGGG BEYONCEEEEEE." One other wrote, "Beyonce - Cowboy Carter @ Sphere Residency."

However, some others pointed out that the person in the poster wasn't Queen Bey. "Beyhive, it's not Beyonce!! They just put a 'big announcement' just to attract the bees, it wasn't this time," one noted. Another suggested that it was Lainey Wilson, saying, "She literally has a song called 'Wildflowers and Wild Horses'."

Considering that Live Nation also posted about Lainey's "Country's Cool Again Tour", fans' theory might be true. However, Beyonce's Las Vegas residency isn't entirely impossible as back in March, The-Dream hinted that a "Cowboy Carter Tour" was certainly in the works.

Beyonce had just wrapped up her successful "Renaissance" tour, which consisted of 50 shows, last September. Later in March, the Grammy winner released her eighth studio album, "Cowboy Carter". The new 27-track album marked Beyonce's first-ever country album and became Spotify's most-streamed record of the year in just one day.

Of Beyonce's success, a source from the music industry told The Sun, "Beyonce has cleverly tapped into a hugely lucrative area which is often ignored by artists from other genres. She's bulldozed the door down and reworked the style and sound perfectly."

"It's estimated that her eighth album is going to be one of her most commercially successful to date, invigorating not only her existing fans, but those loyal to the country genre as well," the source added.
