Some of them chose to spill details about their nuptials with their fans prior to the events. On the other hand, a few others decided to keep the exciting news to themselves for a certain period of time before finally revealing their "married" titles to the world.
As no secret can be kept forever, some of these newlyweds revealed their new status to the public after a few days or even months, much to fans’ surprise. As it’s nearing half of 2024, let’s take a look at some celebrities whose secret weddings have been revealed this year.
1. Josh Radnor and Jordana Jacobs
Josh Radnor waited a few weeks to unveil his secret wedding to Jordana Jacobs. The "How I Met Your Mother" star tied the knot with Jordana during a blizzard. They held their nuptials at Cedar Lakes Estate in Hudson Valley, New York on January 6.
A couple weeks later, Josh shared the happy news on Instagram. He treated his followers to some photos from the wedding day and exclaimed, "I got married! Two weeks ago. In a *light* blizzard. It was an incredible overwhelming snowy bliss-filled weekend."
2. Jessie Buckley
Jessie Buckley and her now-husband secretly said "I do" over the summer in 2023. However, "The Lost Daughter" actress waited months before she revealed the exciting news in January. She married his boyfriend, whom she referred to as "Freddie," a mental health worker from north London.
Jessi shared that she and Freddie, who were introduced to each other by their mutual friend and music boss Marc Robinson, hosted a wedding ceremony at their home in Norfolk, eastern England. The 20-year-old actress and the 22-year-old son of rocker Jon Bon Jovi hosted an intimate ceremony that was attended by her parents, his singer father and his mother Dorothea Bongiovi.
