The 'Griselda' actress turns her tattoo dedicated to former husband Joe Manganiello into a tribute to her new boyfriend, Dr. Justin Saliman, adding a humorous twist to her love life.

AceShowbiz - Sofia Vergara, popularly known for her role in "Modern Family," has endeared herself to fans with her humor and resilience. Vergara, 51, recently opened up about the creative way she repurposed a tattoo initially dedicated to her ex-husband, Joe Manganiello.

The actress revealed this during an appearance on "The Talk" on May 31, where her discussion with her 32-year-old son, Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, captivated the audience.

Vergara, who amicably split from Manganiello last year after seven years of marriage, showed off her wrist tattoo that features a "J" initial. Originally a tribute to Manganiello, Vergara now humorously associates it with her new boyfriend, orthopedic surgeon Dr. Justin Saliman.

"This was Joe Manganiello's initial, but now he's gone. How lucky can I be that the guy that I'm going out [with] has the same initial," she joked, drawing laughter and applause.

Manolo, also on the show, pointed out that her first husband's name, Joe Gonzalez, begins with a "J" as well. This playful banter between mother and son highlighted Vergara's light-hearted approach to her changing personal life.

Vergara and Manganiello finalized their divorce this past February. According to Vergara, one of the primary reasons for their split was Manganiello's desire for children, which she did not share. Speaking candidly to PEOPLE, Vergara explained, "I was a mother already. I know what it means to be a good mother or to try to be the best mother that you can, and that takes a lot of sacrifices, takes a lot of energy."

Despite the end of her marriage, Vergara has embraced single life and is now dating Saliman, an orthopedic surgeon known for his innovative contributions to meniscal repair surgery. They were first linked in October 2023, and although Vergara has been coy about the seriousness of their relationship, she did share, "I think now that I'm older, it's great because you know exactly what you like. I just do what makes me feel confident and beautiful."

In a world where public figures often face scrutiny over their personal lives, Vergara's humor and honesty serve as a refreshing reminder that life's transitions can be met with grace and a good laugh. As she continues to navigate her new chapter with Saliman, Vergara's outlook remains positive, blending her signature wit with her enduring charm.
