AceShowbiz - On "The Jennifer Hudson Show", actress Pam Grier surprised viewers by revealing Snoop Dogg's impressive kissing abilities. "Oh my God, and he can smooch!" she exclaimed.
The revelation stemmed from a clip of Snoop Dogg's adoring encounter with Grier on the set of their 2000 film, "Bones". "He's genius," Grier said of the rapper. "You're a genius when you employ hundreds of people in your career."
"Bones" paid homage to Grier's groundbreaking career in blaxploitation films. It depicted Jimmy Bones (Snoop Dogg), a man who rises from the dead to exact revenge, and the aftermath of his death on his girlfriend Pearl (Grier).
In a surprising turn of events, Snoop Dogg fainted the first time he met Grier. "My heart beat fast," he recalled. "I go to the bathroom and faint."
Grier expressed her admiration for female stunt performers and demanded a stunt double for her role in "Foxy Brown". "It was very important to be authentic," she explained. "Because now I'm responsible for teaching a patriarchal society that a woman could be a martial artist, that could stand up to aggression."
Beyond her acting accomplishments, Grier announced that a musical adaptation of "Foxy Brown" and a seven-episode limited series based on her memoir are in the works. The series will delve into her relationships with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Freddie Prinze and Richard Pryor.
"It can't be a seven-hour movie," Grier said. "But it's going to be a [limited] series like the series I'm promoting today, Them."
