AceShowbiz - Cardi B knew exactly how to troll her online critics. Having been body-shamed after a performance at Dari's nightclub in Las Vegas, the "WAP" hitmaker poked fun at them by eating a huge plate of pancake.
When hopping on Instagram Live, the 31-year-old pretended to cry over a stack of pancakes which she covered in whipped cream and syrup. "I'm getting body-shamed. I'm so sad," she said in the clip.
"Everybody's saying that I look fat. That my a** is so fat. Everybody hates me," the Grammy-winning artist, who shares two kids with rapper Offset, continued as she proceeded to shove pancakes into her mouth.. "What am I gonna do, huh?"
Some people have since applauded Cardi for her savage response. "I LOVE how she can joke about it and move on. Its giving maturity," one person gushed, while another raved, "lol I love her."
Cardi is no stranger to dealing with haters. She even took a step back from social media due to its negativity before deciding to make her return. "When I was off social media and nobody knew what I was doing, I was at peace a lot," she told Rolling Stone.
"But what am I going to do? Never post or never work again because that's peace? No," the femcee stressed. "I don't ever want my daughter or my son to ever give up on something because they can't take the pressure of what people say about them. I got to set that example."
"It's like, 'Y'all never going to break me,' " the rap star continued. "Because I got something to prove to myself. I also got to prove something to the haters. I've got to prove it to my own kids."
