AceShowbiz - A$AP Rocky has left social media users enraged after postponing his new music for this shocking reason. The "Babushka Boi" rapper faced backlash after blaming people allegedly leaking his album for him delaying the release of the project.
On Saturday, May 25, it was reported that the hip-hop artist had given an update on his new album titled "Don't Be Dumb". He allegedly said, "Dummies need to stop leaking. Every time, it's back to the drawing board."
Rocky's statement was later shared via Instagram, prompting social media users to share their two cents on the matter. In the comments section of a post featuring his remarks, many users, who claimed that they have not heard of the "leaks," were confused. On the other hand, some users did not hesitate to express their anger, accusing the spitter of only making excuses.
One in particular assumed, "I feel like artists just be saying ts to buy themselves time cause I haven't heard one Rocky leak lol." Another chimed in, "Bruh. Rocky getting me tight. Leak culture ain't what it use to be it don't make a difference the fans still gonna eat it up."
Meanwhile, a third penned, "This s**t sounds like a lame excuse cuz these 'leaks' are either from around 2018 or don't even make the round. Just drop that s**t it should be a wake up call." A fourth, in the meantime, appeared to have come to Rocky's defense. The user wrote, "If you don't understand why leaks ruin releases you shouldn't be talking on it."
It has been a little over six years since the last time Rocky unleashed an album. His latest record is "Testing", which was dropped back on May 25, 2018. The album includes guest appearances from many fellow artists. Among them are Frank Ocean, Kid Cudi, Skepta, French Montana, Kodak Black, Dev Hynes and FKA Twigs.
