AceShowbiz - Kehlani is allegedly officially off the market now. The singer/songwriter, who has refused to define their sexuality as bisexual despite being attracted to both men and women, has reportedly married art director Mariel Gomez after an apparent secret relationship.
According to Media Take Out, the "After Hours" songstress and the Parkwood Entertainment art director got married last month. They reportedly tied the knot on April 20 in Houston, Texas.
Little is known about Kehlani's relationship with Mariel, but a source tells the news outlet that the two have known each other for some time. The so-called insider spills that their romance began "naturally" and progressed quickly.
It's unclear where the marriage report first originated, but a fan seemingly confirmed the news as tweeting on Monday, May 20, "Kehlani is happily married now. Idk what time her new wife is on, but good luck."
Mariel is credited for helping craft the artwork for Beyonce Knowles' latest album "Cowboy Carter", the Grammy winner's first country music effort.
The news of Kehlani and Mariel's marriage likely comes as a surprise for the singer's fans as they was last known in a relationship with basketball star Kiara Russell. Shortly after their breakup with 070 Shake, the R&B artist introduced their then-new girlfriend in late 2022.
At the time, Kehlani let out a since-deleted TikTok video that captured them sharing intimate kisses. Kiara later shared a collection of photos titled "love n happiness dump," which included a snap of her and Kehlani eating together. It's unknown when the former pair split, but they have not been featured on each other's social media page for some time.
Kehlani previously also dated NBA star Kyrie Irving, rapper YG and guitarist Javaughn Young-White. They became a mother after giving birth to their first child, a daughter, on March 23, 2019. The singer shares the daughter with their ex Javaughn.
