AceShowbiz - Camila Cabello has revealed that she first had sex at 20 years old. When making an appearance on the "Armchair Expert" podcast, the "I Luv It" songstress opened up about her first time having sexual intercourse.
In the Monday, May 20 episode of the podcast, the 27-year-old singer talked about her first relationship before detailing her first sex. Speaking to podcast host Dax Shepard, she recalled meeting Matthew Hussey for the first time on the set of the "Today" show in 2018, "I was outside where they had the TV with the scripts. I had actually listened to his podcast before... because he had, like, a dating podcast," referring to Matthew's "Love Life" podcast.
Camila went on to share that she started a conversation with Matthew to tell him that she was "such a fan" during the run-in. She stated, "So we went to dinner that night and that was my first relationship. It was late for my first relationship. I was 20."
In the podcast episode, the "I Know What You Did Last Summer" songstress received a question from the host if she had had sex prior to her romance with Matthew. In response, she admitted, "No! That was my first time having sex. First lovemaking was at 20, 21." She further gushed, "It was literally lovemaking. It was beautiful."
Noting that Matthew's experience as a relationship coach "honestly made him a great partner," Camila showered his former boyfriend with praise, "He was a really great person." The former Fifth Harmony singer continued, "It was like the perfect first relationship."
On the reason why, Camila shared, "Really expanded my world because he wasn't in my industry too." She recounted, "It was like, 'Oh my God. Have you ever seen 'Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown'? And have you ever seen Studio Ghibli films?' He just really expanded my references."
Camila and Matthew started their romantic relationship back in 2018, which she called a "great year." The two went their separate ways in June 2019. Camila later moved on with now-ex-boyfriend Shawn Mendes while Matthew tied the knot with Audrey Le Strat in October 2023.
