Making a red carpet appearance with his wife at the premiere of his newest movie 'Garfield', the actor says that he thinks the book author would be a 'great' actress.

AceShowbiz - Chris Pratt, accompanied by his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger, attended the Hollywood premiere of Sony's "The Garfield Movie" on Sunday, May 19. Pratt takes on the voice of the iconic orange feline in the animated adventure, with Schwarzenegger by his side on the red carpet.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Pratt expressed his admiration for Schwarzenegger's acting skills and revealed that he has "asked her" to join him onscreen in future projects. He praised her comedic timing and ability to do impressions, but also admitted that her tendency to laugh uncontrollably could potentially disrupt a film shoot.

The couple also shared their excitement about their children being able to enjoy the movie. Pratt noted that while his son has seen other works he's been in, his young daughters will be experiencing their father's work for the first time.

Pratt's co-stars appeared on the red carpet alongside him, including Hannah Waddingham, Cecily Strong, Snoop Dogg and Calum Scott. The film reunites Garfield with his long-lost father, portrayed by Samuel L. Jackson, and sends the feline on a hilarious heist.

In addition to "The Garfield Movie", Pratt has recently provided the voice of video game icon Mario in "The Super Mario Bros. Movie", which earned over $1 million worldwide. Nintendo and Illumination have announced plans for a follow-up film in 2026.

"The Garfield Movie" marks Garfield's return to the big screen since 2006. Bill Murray previously voiced the titular feline in the 2004 film "Garfield: The Movie" and its sequel, "A Tail of Two Kitties". "The Garfield Movie" is set to hit theaters on May 24.
