Jessica Biel offers a word of caution to fans as she reacts to controversy surrounding one of her unusual shower habits after she admits to eating while washing up.

AceShowbiz - During a recent appearance on "The View" on Thursday, May 16, Jessica Biel, 42, shed light on her "polarizing" bathroom practices that have previously gone viral on TikTok. "I don't know guys … It's embarrassing," Biel candidly admitted.

"I think it's polarizing to some people, but honestly, I don't have a lot of time, I'm multitasking, and I don't prioritize my food sometimes… I'm not saying you should do it. Don't do what I do."

While Biel acknowledges that her habit of eating in the shower is unorthodox, she advises her fans to practice mindful eating instead. "You should mindfully eat. Do not shove food in your face in the shower like me," she said. "But that's what I was doing. And you know what, we're not perfect. I'm not perfect."

Adding a humorous touch, co-host Sara Haines pointed out that shower time is often a rare escape for mothers as "the time where the kids don't barge in." Biel retorted, "I don't know, it doesn't keep my kids out. I'm always like, 'Guys, please.' "

Biel shares two sons, Phineas, 3½, and Silas, 9, with her husband, Justin Timberlake.

Biel's fans also got a look at her shower-eating techniques in a TikTok video from January, where she laid out her "rules" for successfully snacking while showering. "I like to take a bite or a sip and put it on the ledge, and then you do your thing. You wash your hair - keep the soap out - that's a big deal. It's pretty simple, guys. You can do this," she explained.

Biel also shared that "the only tricky thing is that when you're chewing, you got to keep your mouth closed because I still like to get under the water while I'm chewing."

But shower snacks aren't Biel's only unusual practice. Earlier this month, the actress revealed on TikTok that she was soaking in 20 pounds of Epsom salt for 30 minutes to get ready for the 2024 Met Gala.

She later explained to PEOPLE that "Epsom salt baths is a tool I love and use for all things, after traveling, sore muscles, of course, magnesium, absolutely, to sleep well, to de-stress, to, you know, just feel confident in your body to go to a big event like the Met Ball."

While Biel's unconventional shower habits may seem intriguing, she cautions fans to be mindful and not to follow her lead blindly. Her insights offer a relatable perspective on multitasking and self-care for busy individuals balancing the chaos of family life and professional obligations.
