AceShowbiz - The mystery surrounding Travis Kelce's absence from Taylor Swift's first "Eras Tour" show in Paris has been explained. His whereabouts on Thursday, May 9 have been revealed after he appeared to have skipped the European leg kickoff of the pop superstar's world tour.

While his girlfriend resumed her sold-out tour, the NFL star was busy working. He was filming Ryan Murphy's forthcoming FX horror drama "Grotesquerie", which marks his first major TV role.

The 34-year-old hunk was seen on the set of the upcoming series in a video taken by his co-star Niecy Nash. "Look who's getting ready for his close-up," the actress said while filming the Kansas City Chiefs player, who was sitting in a chair to get his makeup done.

"Who, me?" Travis replied with a grin as crew members powdered his face. "Are you ready?" Niecy captioned the clip, tagging the athlete's Instagram handle.

Travis wore a black long-sleeve sweater, black pants and brown boots as he got ready to film in Los Angeles. He accessorized with a gold medallion necklace.

While he wasn't able to join Taylor on tour due to work commitment, Travis made sure to show his support for his girlfriend. He recently left a comment on Taylor's lead guitarist Paul Sidoti's Instagram post that promoted her upcoming concerts.

In the image, the pop superstar looked into Paul's eyes as she sang with a mic in her hand during one of their performances from her worldwide tour. Tagging the singer/songwriter, the guitarist wrote in the caption, "The Eras Tour Europe starts tonight.. Paris you're up first.. who's coming?" Travis commented on the post, "Lfg [Let's f**king go]!!!"

Meanwhile, Taylor also kept Travis in her mind onstage by including subtle nods to her boyfriend. During her performance of "So High School", the singer/songwriter and her backup singers hinted at Travis' NFL team tradition with a swag surfing celebration dance, a move that she herself has partaken in while cheering Travis on at games.
