Viewers slam the 'Argo' star's 'insane' new face as they speculate that the actor has had a facelift following his appearance at the Netflix special centering on the retired NFL player.

AceShowbiz - Ben Affleck did not go under the knife ahead of Tom Brady's Netflix roast despite people's speculation. The actor's different look at the special has made him the target of online bullies, but sources have now offered an explanation to his fresh face.
The so-called insiders tell Daily Mail that the 51-year-old was simply clean shaven and had had some botox. "Ben looks great," one of the sources says to the U.K. news outlet. "He had Botox - everyone gets it before events. He has not had filler and definitely no surgery."
The sources claim that Ben's wife Jennifer Lopez is more than happy with his appearance and would not be keen for him to get surgery. "Jennifer would not be keen on him changing his handsome face, nor would he want to," they add. "Ben is confident in his skin. He just wanted it tighter."
A separate source claps back at the plastic surgery claims, "Ben has been blasted over and over and over for last few decades about everything, this is nothing new. And now that people think he has had a face lift is just a joke."
Ben appeared in Netflix's special "The Greatest Roast of All Time" which was broadcast live on Sunday, May 5. Following his appearance in the show, one viewer wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, "Ben Affleck's face lift looks insane."
Another similarly guessed, "Ben Affleck is on stage fresh from a face lift." A confused fan asked, "THIS is Ben Affleck? Why does his face look so different? It's almost like he had some nip & tucks done." Someone else mocked him as saying, "Ben Affleck couldn't afford good plastic surgery? No wonder he seems so angry. That's permanent."
Others slammed Ben over his "unhinged" speech that defended Tom against online trolls, while another likened his speech to a "car crash." The "Air" director said on stage, "Fans have your back. You guys out there talking s**t, all right, behind your f**king keyboard, that doesn't make you a fan. That makes you a b***h."
"I can't think of a more f**ked up, dysfunctional, horrible working system designed to perpetually make people feel awful," he ranted, before realizing that his speech won't sit well with the audiences. "I don't think I'll ever get this chance again. I'm probably never going to work again, actually, after tonight," he said.
