Wearing a gold and silver mini dress and matching headpieces with arrow-like spikes, the 28-year-old actress is joined by co-star Chris Hemsworth on the red carpet of the Sydney event.

AceShowbiz - Anya Taylor-Joy was all dolled up and armed for the "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga" premiere in Sydney, Australia. Channeling her fierce character in the upcoming movie, the actress wore a dramatic transparent gold dress covered in giant spikes when attending the event on Thursday, May 2.

The 28-year-old turned heads in the gold and silver mini dress and matching headpieces with arrow-like spikes, similar to the gold, metallic color scheme that has been used to promote her newest movie. The dress is from Ryan Hastings and Paco Rabanne's 1996 Spring Haute Couture collection.

The Golden Globe winner, who completed her look with golden high heels, had to keep her co-star Chris Hemsworth at arm's length while posing together on the red carpet. The Aussie hunk opted for a more traditional outfit which consisted of a gray plaid suit and a black button-up shirt.

After the premiere, Taylor-Joy took to her Instagram page to share pictures of her look that night. In the caption, she revealed that she went with a "Conceal and Reveal" theme for her dress, adding, "Thank you to everyone who came out last night. You made it magic."

Serving as a prequel to "Mad Max: Fury Road" (2015), "Furiosa" is set 15-20 years before the events in the Charlize Theron-starring pic. According to the official synopsis, as the world falls apart, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and into the hands of a Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. While two Tyrants war for dominance over the Citadel, Furiosa survives many trials as she plots a way back home through the Wasteland.

Alyla Browne stars as young Furiosa, while Taylor-Joy plays Imperator Furiosa. Hemsworth portrays the villainous Warlord Dementus, with Tom Burke, Nathan Jones, Angus Sampson and Daniel Webber also joining the cast. The post-apocalyptic action adventure film is directed by George Miller based on the script written by Miller and Nico Lathouris. It will open in U.S. theaters on May 24.
