"He's nursing a grudge against collaborators who've gone silent amid his legal battle," a source tells The National Enquirer (via RadarOnline.com). "Questions linger over the whereabouts of stars he helped elevate, like Jennifer Lopez, Usher and Justin Bieber, who have distanced themselves from him."

In the aftermath of the lawsuits and raid on his Miami and Los Angeles mansions, the embattled hip-hop mogul is said to be doing a slow, steady simmer while keeping tabs on all who turned their backs on him. "Diddy is preparing for a fierce legal battle to clear his name," a music insider adds. "Once vindicated, his focus will shift toward settling scores with those who deserted him when he needed them most!"

The report goes on noting that the list of high-profile names Diddy will be "settling scores" with continues to grow daily as many have spoken up against him. Recently, Aubrey O'Day claimed her former boss tried to keep Bad Boy Records artists quiet by turning over publishing rights to them.

"I received the publishing deal," the 40-year-old said in a sneak peek from the documentary "TMZ Presents: The Downfall of Diddy", which was released on Tubi on Sunday, April 28. "I know what it says. I know how much money it was giving me."

She claimed she's offered an astonishingly low amount of money for a "full release of all claims against Diddy and many other players." As for what motivated Diddy to make the move, the former Danity Kane member shared, "I think you would probably be making moves to keep as many people quiet as possible."

Responding to Aubrey's claims, Diddy sources told TMZ, "Aubrey O'Day got her big break because Diddy and Bad Boy cast her in their show with her group, Danity Kane. Last year, when he reassigned his portion of the publishing to Bad Boy artists, an unprecedented move within the industry and which he did not have to do, not all artists signed an NDA, contrary to what she claims."
