The Duke of Sussex allegedly will not meet his brother Prince William and sister-in-law Kate Middleton during his trip to his home country for Invictus Game anniversary in May.

AceShowbiz - Prince Harry is set to return to the United Kingdom next month. However, the Duke of Sussex allegedly won't meet his brother Prince William and sister-in-law Kate Middleton during his trip to his home country.

If a new report is to be believed, the Prince and Princess of Wales aren't planning to schedule a meet-up with Harry. A source, claimed to be one friend of the royal couple, claimed that William and Kate didn't want to add stress amid the latter's cancer battle.

"Both sides understand each other's position clearly now," the insider told The Daily Beast. "William and Catherine felt completely betrayed by Harry's memoir ('Spare'). They don't speak to Harry and Meghan, and they are certainly not about to start when Catherine is at her most vulnerable."

While Harry allegedly reached out to the Wales upon discovering Kate's cancer diagnosis, another friend, who has yet to contact Harry after he left the U.K. with his wife Meghan Markle, didn't think it would significantly change the brothers' current relationship. "[Harry is] just another person who sold his story to the papers," the friend said.

"A 'get well soon' message is neither here nor there. But the whole situation doesn't use up a huge amount of their mental energy any more. William and Kate have accepted it and moved on," the source continued. "Cancer puts things in perspective. William respects his father's wish to reconcile with his son, but his focus now is on protecting his family from stressful situations."

It was confirmed on Sunday, April 28 that the Duke of Sussex will have to fly to the United Kingdom on May 8 for a special tenth anniversary commemoration of his Invictus Games. His scheduled visit next month follows the royal's brief trip to the U.K. earlier this year. At the time, the royal went across the pond as soon as his father King Charles III's cancer diagnosis became public.

In other news related to Kate and William, the couple celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary by sharing a never-before-seen photo. Taken from their wedding day back in 2011, the black-and-white picture saw the pair smiling and standing together on their big day.

Kate looked stunning in a white V-neck gown with lace overlay by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen while wearing Queen Elizabeth's Cartier Halo Tiara. As for Prince Harry, the groom was dapper in a red tunic of the Irish Guards. "13 years ago today!" the caption read.
