AceShowbiz - Zac Efron has surprised fans with a new look, months after confusing them with his fuller jawlines. The 36-year-old actor debuted a new hairy style when stepping out in Los Angeles over the weekend.

Making his way out of the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood on Friday evening, April 26, the lead actor of "The Iron Claw" sported a striking new mustache. He was almost unrecognizable as he wore a jet-black hoodie.

The Hollywood hunk flashed a slight smile as he departed the historic hotel with an opened package in hand. He completed his look with a pair of jeans and checkered slip-on Vans sneakers as he put on one of his headphones in his ear. He also held a bottle of drink in his hand while carrying a camouflage backpack.

A day later, Zac was seen returning to the hotel with a similar style. He was dressed casually in a hoodie and carried a bag and a hat while exiting a car.

This isn't the first time Zac grew his facial hair. The "High School Musical" star sported a similar style in 2021, though it was for a role in his movie "The Greatest Beer Run Ever".

A few weeks ago, Zac was rocking some all-over scruff when he attended the 2024 Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, Australia. He was joined by his brother Dylan Efron and hanging out with fellow actor Sam Worthington inside the Red Bull Racing garage.

Back in November 2023, Zac confused fans with his fuller jawlines although he had revealed that he shattered his jaw a few years ago. Fans first noticed his different appearance in April 2021. It was not until more than a year later that Zac addressed his face transformation.

When speaking to Men's Health for the October 2022 cover story, the "Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile" leading man disclosed that he broke his jaw while running in his house with socks on. Claiming that he slipped and hit his chin against a granite fountain, Zac noted that he passed out. Once he woke up, his chin bone was "hanging off his face."
