The Emmy-winning actress shows her dedication to the forthcoming spy series by continuing filming with an indomitable spirit despite having fractured her vertebrae during a stunt.

AceShowbiz - Elisabeth Moss revealed the extent of her injury while filming "The Veil", a new FX series premiering on Hulu on April 30. While playing MI6 agent Imogen in Istanbul, Moss incurred a broken vertebra during a fight scene on a rooftop above the Grand Bazaar. The actress remained lying on the roof for hours before being examined.

Despite the serious injury, Moss insisted on continuing filming. "We actually shot the next day at the airport - those are the Paris airport scenes you see (in the episode) - and I actually have, like, a broken back," Moss said in a recent interview with Variety.

Moss' producing partner, Denise Di Novi, who was present during the incident, praised her determination. "I felt so bad for her," Di Novi said. "She is underselling how hard a lot of the stunt was that she did."

Moss' dedication to performing her own stunts is attributed to her background in dance. "I think the discipline and coordination of being a dancer made a huge difference for her," Di Novi said.

Despite the injury, Moss was able to continue filming Episode 2 of "The Veil", which features the scene she originally had to repeat six weeks later. The series, which also stars Josh Charles, follows Imogen's journey across Europe as she investigates a potential ISIS attack.

Moss' experience serves as a testament to her resilience and the challenges involved in making television. Despite the pain and discomfort, she showcased her commitment to the project and her craft, ultimately delivering a captivating performance.
