Halle and DDG, who welcomed their first child months prior, first sparked breakup rumors after they unfollowed each other on Instagram and deleted photos of one another on the platform.

AceShowbiz - Halle Bailey and DDG didn't break up. "The Little Mermaid (2023)" actress and the rapper have been hit with split rumors since earlier this month, but the former's representative already shut down the speculation.
The singer's rep told TMZ that Halle and DDG "are still together." The new mom decided to set the record straight on her relationship status because the Internet wouldn't stop spreading the false rumors.
Halle and DDG first sparked the speculation after they unfollowed each other on Instagram. They also deleted photos of one another on the platform.
Later, a source allegedly from their inner circle told Media Take Out that Halle and the YouTuber have indeed broken up, several months after welcoming their first child. Their romantic relationship has reportedly deteriorated significantly since she gave birth to their son.
"They went from having a fun, go on vacations and red carpets, relationship … to a who's feeding the baby and changing diapers relationship," the so-called insider explained. "It's taken a toll on them both," the gal pal added, before weighing in, "and I think DDG wasn't ready for all the responsibility."
On April 12, the 24-year-old star went to the Coachella without DDG. She was seen among the crowd flocking to the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California. She appeared to be in good spirits, flashing a radiant smile while walking around solo with a refreshing drink in her hand.
A few days later, Halle praised DDG while opening up about her struggle with postpartum depression. In a video posted on her Snapchat Story, she said she's "trying to work while still being severely postpartum."
"I have severe, severe postpartum," the Chloe x Halle member confided to her followers while filming herself lying in bed. "It's really bad," she added, claiming that she would "freak out" when she is separated from her baby for more than 30 minutes.
Halle then expressed her gratitude that her son Halo "has the most amazing daddy in the world." She went on gushing about the YouTube star, "He's just the perfect dad. He's so present. ...I couldn't have asked for a better person to have a baby with." She also said that he has been "supportive" of her and her "ventures."
