AceShowbiz - Fans apparently are so interested in Latto's (Mulatto) family background. The "Big Energy" raptress was forced to set a record straight after a social media user insinuated that the star's father was a "pedophile."

On Monday, April 15, the Atlanta artist took to her Instagram account to share a picture of her mom holding her when she was a baby. "My mama 15yr old fast a** w me," so she wrote over the snap.

The picture quickly sparked chatter among her fans with one of them showing concern about the age gap between Latto's parents. "Latto shared a photo of her as an infant being held by her mother with a caption that said, 'My mama 15yr old fast a** w me.' Her dad was 23 and her Mom was 15 at the time of conception. Wouldn't that make her father a pedophile? Mhm thinks," said the user.

Latto quickly clarified the speculations as she replied to a fan who asked, "So how old is her dad??? That's the question." Catching wind of the tweet, Latto wrote to the fan, "My parents are 3 yrs apart lol."

This wasn't the first time people questioned Latto's parents' age gap. Back in 2022, a Nicki Minaj fan wrote on X, "Your father is in his 60s. Your mother is 39. Meaning when your father had you he was roughly in his late 30s. Your mother was 16 or 17. You know what that means, right? @latto."

Quoting the post, Nicki further attacked Latto, who took a swipe at the "Anaconda" hitmaker's husband, Kenneth Petty, who is a registered sex offender. "Explain this s**t!!!! Since you just became a rape activist in the last 5 minutes h** you BETTA HAVE A GOOD EXPLANATION FOR THIS S**T!!!!! RIGHT TF NOW!!!!
