AceShowbiz - Wynonna Judd's daughter has been slapped with a new charge. Grace Kelley, who was arrested on April 5 in Alabama for indecent exposure and obstructing government operations, has reportedly been charged with soliciting prostitution.
Local police chief P.K. Johnson said in an interview with The Daily Mail that the 27-year-old allegedly held up a sign that read "Ride for a Ride." He added, "She was not appropriately dressed."
"She didn't have the things covered that needed to be covered. And she was holding the 'Ride for a Ride' sign while she was in that state and with drivers going by, displaying herself," the police chief continued. He also noted that "she was argumentative and refused to cooperate in any way with officers."
Grace was taken into custody after exposing her breasts and lower body at the intersection of Interstate 65 and Highway 14 in Millbrook. She is charged with indecent exposure and obstructing government operations. According to jail records, she remains in custody at the Elmore County Jail. Her bond has been set at $1,000, and her first court date is scheduled for April 11.
This is not Kelley's first run-in with law enforcement. In 2016, she was arrested on drug charges and later pleaded guilty to meth manufacturing, delivery, sale, and possession with intent. She served time for these charges and was sentenced in 2018 to eight years at West Tennessee State Penitentiary. However, her sentence was set to expire in August 2025, and she was released early in 2019 and granted parole.
Officers on the scene of her most recent arrest claimed that Grace refused to identify herself and sat down on the roadside. She failed to comply with their orders when they attempted to apprehend her.
