In a new episode of 'The Valley', the former 'Vanderpump Rules' cast members open up about their lack of intimacy during the year leading up to their separation.

AceShowbiz - Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor apparently struggled to spice things up in their marriage before they decided to split. In a new episode of "The Valley", the pair got candid about their lack of intimacy.
"When Jax and I first met, it was awesome. We were having sex all the time, 24/7, and I mean, we didn't miss a day," Brittanny admitted in a confessional in the Tuesday, April 9 episode. However, everything changed during the year leading up to their separation. The 35-year-old shared, "And then, it has just changed dramatically. I'm talking twice in the past year."
Later in the episode, Jax expressed his frustrations with their activity level in the bedroom. "I feel like we got to schedule it," he said while having a conversation with co-stars Danny Booko and Jesse Lally.
Jax claimed that they used to have sex three or four times a day. "And now it's like, did we do it this month?" he continued.
He further elaborated the situation in a confessional. "The romantic spark is just not there right now," he shared. "I will take blame, yeah, I let that spark fizzle. It's just not fair to either one of us. Especially, it's not fair to my wife because she deserves to have a man be loving for her."
According to Jax, having a child also contributed to their dry sex life. "Your sex life and your marriage kind of take a back seat when you have a child," he explained. "It's a big deal and I don't want it to become a bigger deal."
Jax and Brittany welcomed their first son, Cruz Michael Cauchi, in April 2021. "Yesterday, April 12th at 1:51 pm, our lives changed forever in the absolute best way possible," Brittany wrote on Instagram at the time. "Our beautiful son Cruz Michael Cauchi was born and we have never been more in love. He is the most precious gift and I am so blessed to be his Mommy. We are soooooo so happy, he is a dream come true!! -Both Mommy & Baby are doing great!"
Taylor also gushed over his baby. "I've never in my life thought it was going to be like this," he said. "...I have the most beautiful son a man could ask for, he's an absolute blessing from god."
