The Coldplay lead vocalist hopes to cheer up his actress fiancee with summer nuptials as she's reportedly disheartened by the box office failure of her Marvel superhero film.

AceShowbiz - Coldplay frontman Chris Martin is reportedly planning a summer wedding with his fiancee, actress Dakota Johnson, in an attempt to boost her spirits after the disastrous box office performance of her latest film, "Madame Web."
Johnson, 34, has been struggling emotionally since the film, a Spider-Man spinoff, was met with overwhelmingly negative reviews. The box office bomb earned a mere $42.7 million domestically, leading to fears that it could damage her career.
"Dakota has hit rock bottom," an insider told the National Enquirer. "She is terrified the reviews could be the death knell of her career!"
Johnson's comments criticizing the film further alienated studio executives. "It's not nice to be a part of something that's ripped to shreds, but I can't say that I don't understand," she said. "I probably will never do anything like it again because I don't make sense in that world."
Martin, 47, is reportedly rushing to set a wedding date in order to provide some positive news for Johnson. "Chris brought her back from the brink by pushing for a summer wedding," a source told RadarOnline.com. "She needed some good news right about now."
Johnson has previously expressed a desire to distance herself from her nepotistic legacy as the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson. However, the "Madame Web" debacle could potentially hinder her efforts.
"Dakota has desperately tried to shed the nepo baby tag for as long as she's been acting," an industry PR rep said. "With all of the bad reviews, Dakota's petrified Madame Web could do even worse and become the biggest Marvel flop of all time. That's the last thing she needs on her resume."
The couple has been engaged since 2020 and moved in together in a Malibu mansion in 2021. Despite their commitment, they had not previously been in a hurry to get married.
