AceShowbiz - The Kardashian family is reportedly unaware of Caitlyn Jenner and Lamar Odom's collaborative project before the announcement. A new report claims that the famous clan is completely blindsided by the pair's new podcast, "Keeping Up with Sports".

"The family was blindsided by this and they feel that they are absolutely going to be discussed on the podcast," a source tells Daily Mail. "The only things they could possibly have in common is that they are both Kardashian family outcasts."

The insider further notes that "Caitlyn will do anything to try and upstage Kris or get under her skin, but this is the most bizarre one ever." The former "I Am Cait" star "is devastated over her shattered relationship with the kids that she helped raise but she knows it is partly her own fault," per the source.

As for Lamar, the informant claims that the former basketball player "knows that it is his fault for losing Khloe yet still, to this day, talks about her," referring to his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian.

Caitlyn and Lamar announced their new podcast earlier this month. They will be joined by a third host named Zach Hirsch. An official website for their podcast reveals that together, they "take on all sports, each with a unique personality and opinion." According to TMZ, its first episode will feature boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard and arrive in a few weeks.

Both Caitlyn and Lamar starred on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" before their respective divorces. Caitlyn officially ended her marriage to Kris Jenner in 2015, while Lamar was married to Khloe from 2009 to 2016.

Back in October 2023, Caitlyn shared that she and Kris no longer keep in touch following their divorce. "If there's any communication, my manager kind of talks to her," she opened up on U.K.'s "This Morning" show. Noting that she is "much closer to the Jenner side" of the family, she continued, "Kris, I don't really have anymore contact with her. It's kind of sad because we went through a lot."
