Dave Chappelle, who also attended the event at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. over the weekend, joins their pals in roasting the 'Jumanji' actor.

AceShowbiz - Kevin Hart was roasted by his pals as he received the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor on Sunday, March 24. Among those who playfully trolled the "Central Intelligence" star were Chris Rock and Regina Hall.

"I swear to God, within 800 days, Kevin was a bigger star than me," Chirs joked, according to Deadline. "Within 800 days. He was taking parts from me. He was in a movie with The Rock. My last name's Rock!"

As for Regina, who has worked with Kevin in eight movies, she quipped, "Kevin really cares about the quality of the check." She added, "Not the project. Honestly, some of that stuff is pretty bad - but the man knows how to get paid!"

Jimmy Fallon, meanwhile, performed a parody country tune about a classic topic, Kevin's height. "We all love this famous Kevin/ Even though he's 2-11/ He's the boss in any room/ But from behind, he looks like he's 7," the TV host sings.

Dave Chappelle, who also attended the event at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., balanced his admiration with some jokes. "You made me dream bigger, and you're younger than me - it's humiliating," he said at one point, before adding, "If surviving had a mascot, it would be him. He looks like 'Stayin' Alive.' A little guy growing up in North Philadelphia. Strong, but he probably can't fight."

Kevin couldn't be more grateful to have received the accolade. While thanking his children, the "Jumanji" actor tearfully said, "I breathe for you. I live for you." He also gave a shout-out to his mother for shaping him into the person he became.

"I fell in love with something I could do for the rest of my life," Kevin explained. "I committed to comedy. I fell in love with something I can grab onto. All my eggs are in this basket and oh my God I’m happy with my choice."
