After Kanye bragged about 'creating the genre' in music industry in a recent interview, Boosie Badazz and Kid Cudi are quick to respond to his bold claim.

AceShowbiz - Kanye West has once again sparked controversy with his latest remarks, this time claiming to be the sole creator of every music genre over the past two decades.

During an interview with Big Boy, West made the bold statement, declaring, "I invented every style of music of the past 20 years, I created the genre." He specifically cited The Weeknd, Travis Scott (II), and Drake as artists whose genres originated from him.

The rapper also included Future and Young Thug in his claim, crediting their auto-tuned style to his album "808s & Heartbreaks". "Everybody thinks about Trav, Weeknd, and Drake but no one thinks about Future and Thug also," he said. "The autotune album."

Unsurprisingly, West's claim has sparked a heated debate among fans, critics, and peers. Boosie Badazz took to Instagram to dismiss West's assertion, arguing that his music did not resonate with people in his neighborhood.

"NOT ALL GENRES NOT EVERY STYLE," Boosie wrote. "YOU CAN'T RELATE TO NOTHING I RAP ABOUT R YOUR MUSIC. NOBODY LISTENS TO KANYE IN THE PROJECTS R THE TRENCHES IM, A GON HEAD N SAY IT ' MY PEOPLE DO NOT RELATE TO YOU."

Kid Cudi also seemingly responded to West's claim by posting a screenshot of a Wikipedia article listing him as an inspiration for "808s & Heartbreaks".

Despite the controversy, it's undeniable that West has had a profound impact on hip-hop and pop culture over the past three decades. Whether one agrees with his bold claims or not, his ability to resonate with audiences and shape the musical landscape remains undeniable.
