AceShowbiz - Emmy-winning HBO series "The White Lotus" is filming its third season in Thailand with a star-studded cast. On Friday, March 15, it was announced that Charlotte Le Bon will replace Francesca Corney in an undisclosed role.

According to Deadline, the producers opted to recast the character due to their desire for an older actress. Details about the character remain confidential.

Le Bon is known for roles in "Fresh" (2022) and "The Promise" (2016). The 37-year-old also directed the 2022 film "Falcon Lake".

The recasting is the second for season 3 of "The White Lotus." In February, Julian Kostov was cast in place of Milos Bikovic. The show cut ties with Milos after he previously expressed support for Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Joining Le Bon on the season 3 cast are Carrie Coon, Michelle Monaghan, Walton Goggins,Patrick Schwarzenegger and Leslie Bibb. BLACKPINK's Lisa will also reportedly make appearance in the upcoming season. Season 1's Natasha Rothwell additionally is set to reprise her role as Belinda Lindsey.

Creator and showrunner Mike White has hinted that the third season will explore themes of religion, death, and Eastern spirituality. While initial plans to film in Japan were scrapped due to financial incentives, the third season of "The White Lotus" is now in production in various locations in Thailand, including Bangkok and the islands of Koh Samui and Phuket.
