Jimmy Kimmel reunites Gosling with his co-stars Kate McKinnon and America Ferrera in a parody video that shades the Academy Awards for snubbing director Greta Gerwig.

AceShowbiz - Ryan Gosling isn't done slamming the Academy Awards for snubbing Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie at the upcoming Oscars. In a promo for the 96th annual event, the actor reprises his "Barbie" role, Ken, and reunites with his co-stars Kate McKinnon and America Ferrera to poke fun at the snubs.

The video, which is narrated by Helen Mirren, centers on upcoming Oscars host Jimmy Kimmel, who gets lost in Barbieland. Following in the footsteps of Robbie's Barbie, he seeks advice from Weird Barbie (McKinnon) to find his way to OscarsLand.

"You must be midlife crisis Ken," Weird Barbie says, before laying out the path to the Dolby Theatre, where the ceremony will be held on March 10. On their journey, they encounter some characters from Oscar-nominated movies, including "Oppenheimer" and "Maestro". Kimmel doesn't miss a chance to take a jab at his frenemy Matt Damon, describing him as "that poor, incredible hideous, disgusting ugly man."

When he finally arrives, Kimmel couldn't hide his anxiety about hosting the show. Ferrera then appears to riff on her famous "Barbie" monologue. Instead of reprising the feminist anthem, she breaks down all the reasons why hosting Oscars is the worst gig in Hollywood.

"It's literally impossible to host the Oscars," she tells Kimmel. "You have to be extraordinary, but somehow you're always doing it wrong. You have to make fun of people, but you can't make too much fun of people. You have to give everybody enough time, but you can't go long. And you are the center of attention, but no one cares you're there. You can never show off, never fail, never show fear... no one says thank but everyone has something critical to say online. If it goes well, nobody says anything. If it doesn't, it's all your fault."

Gosling later pops up wearing Ken's "I Am Kenough" hoodie to brag about following the trend of getting In-N-Out after an award show, except that he gets it beforehand. "I got In-N-Out! It's kind of this cool social media trend where you get it before the Oscars," he says.

"Actually, the trend is to have In-N-Out after the Oscars. Actually, after you've won the Oscar," Kimmel corrects him. "Well that's not going to happen," Gosling, who is nominated for Best Actor, replies.

"Good thing Greta has got [best] director in the bag!" the Canadian star says, falsely thinking that she's nominated in the Best Director category. When Ferrera informs him that Gerwig is not a Best Director nominee, he lets out his best Ken scream in horror, leading to a screaming contest with Kimmel.

Gosling and Ferrera previously defended Gerwig and Barbie after the two didn't make the cut in their respective categories. The actor recently told Variety he "heavily edited" his statement in the wake of the Oscar snubs, while he's actually more than ready to challenge people to a "beach-off."
