The 'Gone Girl' actor was caught off guard when he found out his singer wife shared his emotional love letters with her collaborators while making her new album.

AceShowbiz - Ben Affleck was stunned when his wife Jennifer Lopez shared his private love letters with her songwriters. "The Town" actor, 51, swapped vows with J.Lo, 54, in July 2022 after their famous break-up years earlier, and it's now been revealed his emotional notes have been used by the singer as part of the inspiration for her upcoming record "This Is Me… Now".

The performer is seen in a preview for her upcoming Amazon Prime documentary "This Is Me… Now: A Love Story" inviting musicians to her and Ben's home and giving them access to his love letters, which he titled "The Greatest Love Story Never Told".

Ben is then seen walking in and looking stunned as he realises she is showing them to her collaborators. But he admits to the camera, "I did really find the beauty and the poetry and the irony in the fact that it's the greatest love story never told."

And sharing his appreciation of his letters being part of Jennifer's album, he added, "If you're making a record about it, that seems kind of like telling it."

Jennifer previously hinted at the existence of her husband's romantic letters as in another teaser of the Amazon film released in November, she was filmed holding a note dated December 24, 2002, which appeared to be from Ben.

Signed "B", it said, "Life's tough but you're sweet. Thanks for the gift. Hope you like the flowers. You told me you could never have enough. I believe you."

Jennifer has said her new album will be the "most honest" thing she's done, adding to Vogue, "People think they know things about what happened to me along the way - but they really have no idea, and a lot of times they get it so wrong. There's a part of me that was hiding a side of myself from everyone."

"This Is Me… Now: A Love Story" is set for release on February 27, with J.Lo's latest album coming out February 16.
