AceShowbiz - Tyrese Gibson revealed that he's broken up with Zelie Timothy. The "Fast and Furious" actor said Zelie dumped him because she was fed up with his songs about his ex-wife, Samantha Lee.
On Sunday, February 11, the 45-year-old said in an Instagram video, "I released my double album today, but it's only available for ten hours." He added, "50 Cent, Katt Williams, [Kanye West], forgive me, I used you for clickbait. Watch the trailer."
The clip then transitioned to a trailer for "Beautiful Pain" that featured a montage of his wedding with Samantha and behind-the-scenes footage of the album's recording. "I still believe in love," the actor said at one point. "Chivarly, to me, is not dead."
In the caption, Tyrese wrote, "My superbowl plans are f**ked.. power outage in my neighborhood so I'm going at em. And me and Zelie just broke up over some dumb s**t." He went on to elaborate, "Remember this.. She demanded that I cancel my ALBUM because there's too many songs about my ex on there.. f**k does that even mean?"
Tyrese and Zelie dated on and off since 2020. The pair first split in July 2022. In September of that year, however, the "F9" star confirmed that they had gotten back together.
