When Eilish accepts an award for Song of the Year for 'What Was I Made For?', the 'Video Games' songstress is seen half-heartedly applauding for the 22-year-old Grammy winner.

AceShowbiz - Lana Del Rey's fans think she rightfully felt disappointed by her recent loss at the 2024 Grammy Awards. The 38-year-old singer received four nominations, including one for Song of the Year for "A&W", but she lost it to Billie Eilish who won the award for her "Barbie" song "What Was I Made For?".

In a viral video from the 66th annual ceremony, the "Say Yes to Heaven" hitmaker seemingly couldn't hide her feelings upon losing the chance to take home the coveted prize. She looked unenthusiastic and clapped half-heartedly while Eilish delivered her acceptance speech onstage.

Upon seeing the video, many quickly weighed in on Del Rey's reaction in the video. "That's NOT an applause," one person commented. Another remarked, "Omg lanas face." A third X user noted, "I think disappointment is kinda evident." A fourth person opined, "She looks devastated but also happy," while another raved over the star, "That's the most elegant clap I've ever seen."

Meanwhile, fans jumped to Del Rey's defense as they thought that the singer was robbed of the award. "Y'all expect her to be clapping arms out ?? obviously she won't she has been snubbed way too many times now it's kinda crazy," one of the fans defended the star.

Another claimed, "She doesn't deserve all of this... scammys." Someone weighed in, "I understand why Billie won, but Lana is always the one who doesn't win... it's so heartbreaking! Her songs are bangers and reflect LIFE! That's just so unfair."

Another enraged fan penned, "The absurdity of Del Rey losing all Grammy nominations goes to show how rigged the system is & how we as a collective just don't appreciate greatness anymore. It's as if they do it on purpose to get some weird point across. Real recognize real tho." Someone else added, "It is criminal that the grammy awards seem to hate an artist as deserving as Lana. Ocean Blvd was one of the most acclaimed albums of the year."

Besides Del Rey, Eilish defeated Taylor Swift ("Anti-Hero"), Jon Batiste ("Butterfly"), Dua Lipa ("Dance the Night"), Miley Cyrus ("Flowers"), SZA ("Kill Bill") and Olivia Rodrigo ("Vampire") for the award. It marks her 9th Grammy at 22 years old.
