AceShowbiz - Sherri Shepherd has publicly revealed her crush on Damar Hamlin at a recent event. The "Sherri" host flirted with the NFL star during her monologue at an American Heart Association fundraiser in New York City.

On Wednesday night, January 31, the 56-year-old Emmy winner made a confession about her crush on the athlete when making an appearance at the Go Red for Women Red Dress Collection Concert at Jazz in Lincoln Center. At that time, she was doing her monologue on a stage while he was sitting next to his mother and 8-year-old little brother in the audience.

One day later, an eyewitness spilled to Page Six what Sherri stated during the event. The TV personality reportedly said, "Oh, look at Damar Hamlin. Look at you, look at you! Safety for the Buffalo Bills. I love you, Damar Hamlin!"

Sherri went on to shower Damar with praise, "You are a walking miracle, your heart was revived." She continued, "I love strong hearts because strong hearts is a strong back, and you [are] young, and that means your heart could go all night. I would love it!" prompting other attendees to burst into laughter.

The former "The View" co-host further stated, "I know your mama's here in the audience." She then joked, "You know what? He got a ride home tonight, mama, he all right." Not stopping there, she playfully asked the Buffalo Bills safety, "Can you call me Mama, Damar?"

At one point, Sherri hilariously told Damar's young brother to "put your hands over your ears because I'm not done with your brother yet." She additionally asked about Damar's age. Upon learning that he is 25 years old, she declared, "25? 25! That's too old for me, 25. I don't know about that. 25, oh gosh, y'all."

Sherri continued flirting with Damar as she invited the football player to get on the stage with her. The famous host and the athlete then performed fun dance moves together. In a video making its rounds online, the two could be seen holding each other's hands during the dance.

For the star-studded event, Sherri looked stunning in a red gown, which came with a plunging neckline and gold embellishments on its lower part, and a pair of matching hand gloves. Meanwhile, Damar looked clean in a white button-up shirt under a red suit and a pair of matching tailored pants.
