The exciting news arrived just one day after the singer released a new song called 'Selfish', which is expected to appear on his upcoming album, 'Everything I Thought It Was'.

AceShowbiz - Justin Timberlake is hitting the road soon. The NSYNC member announced on Friday, January 16, that he will embark on the "Forget Tomorrow" world tour and revealed the dates for its North American leg.

Based on the poster shared on Instagram, the 42-year-old will kick things off at Vancouver's Rogers Arena on April 29. He will then head to cities like Seattle, San Jose, Las Vegas and San Diego among others in May.

On June 4, Justin is set to perform in Fort Worth. He will make stops in Tulsa, Atlanta, Tampa, Miami, Chicago, New York, Boston, Baltimore and others before wrapping it up in Lexington on July 7.

The exciting news arrived just one day after Justin dropped his new single, "Selfish". It was released along with a music video, directed by Bradley J. Calder, which shows the singer's trial-and-error approach to making the clip.

Serving as Jusitn's first solo release in six years, "Selfish" is expected to appear on his upcoming album, "Everything I Thought It Was". For the set itself, the "Cry Me a River" hitmaker admitted that he laid down 100 songs.

"I worked for a long time on this album and I ended up with 100 songs. So narrowing them down to 18 was a thing, and then, yeah, I'm really excited about this album," he told Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1. "I think every artist probably says this, but it is my best work."

The "Like I Love You" crooner explained the title of the record came as a result of the feedback he was getting from his friends. He said, "I was playing it for people around me. They're like, 'Oh, this sounds like everything we know you for.' "

"And then another friend of mine was like, 'Oh, this sounds like everything I thought I wanted from you,' " the musician further elaborated. "It was like that sort of phrase, in one way or another, was in the air. And I thought to myself about how some of the songs are more introspective and some of them are more what I think people know me for."
