AceShowbiz - Tori Spelling made a shocking revelation about her "Beverly Hills, 90210" co-star Luke Perry. According to the actress, the late actor used to have a secret romance with none other than Madonna.
In the Sunday, January 22 episode of her "90210MG" podcast, Tori exposed the relationship, which allegedly took place sometime during the hit show that ran from 1990 to 2000 on FOX. "I will never forget him pulling me into his dressing room and telling me," she told co-host Jennie Garth. "I felt so confided in. 'Oh, my God, he's telling me about Madonna.' "
Tori shared that Luke even made her listen to a message he received from the Queen of Pop on an answering machine. The 50-year-old actress recounted, "I was like, 'You're the coolest person in the whole world. One, cause you're Luke Perry, and two, because Madonna wants you.' "
Jennie, who also starred on the hit show alongside Tori and Luke, then wondered if she knew about the secret romance. To that, Tori responded, "Jen, we kept these things from you because [that's something] you would want to hear."
According to a Vanity Fair 1992 cover story, Madonna and Luke first linked up at an event for the American Foundation for AIDS Research at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Prior to the event, the "Vogue" hitmaker allegedly called him when he was on the set of "Beverly Hills, 90210", asking if he would present an award to her.
Luke initially thought that the call was a joke. Later at the event, Madonna greeted Hollywood's then-biggest heartthrob with a kiss on stage. It's unknown how long their relationship lasted, but the "Riverdale" alum got married to Rachel Sharp in 1993 before divorcing in 2003. He was then engaged to Wendy Madison Bauer before he died on March 4, 2019 from a massive stroke.
As for Madonna, the musician dated her fitness instructor Carlos Leon in 1994. They welcomed their daughter, Lourdes "Lola" Leon, a year later. After calling it quits with Carlos in 1997, she tied the knot with Guy Richie in December 2000. The "Material Girl" singer shares son Rocco Ritchie together with Guy in addition to adopting son David Banda before their 2008 divorce.
