A few months after releasing her album 'Rockstar', the 'I Will Always Love You' singer reveals that she has prepared a 'present' for her devotees on her 78th birthday.

AceShowbiz - Dolly Parton has announced that she has new music for fans to mark her 78th birthday. The "I Will Always Love You" singer surprised her devotees with the release of four songs with a deluxe version of her "Rockstar" album, which was released a few months prior.
On Friday, January 19, the country superstar made use of her Instagram page to share the exciting news with her fans. In a new post, she began writing, "Hey fans and friends, It's my birthday so I'm going to give you a present!" She went on to reveal, "I'm releasing four never released songs for my birthday, to go with the 'Rockstar' album, and a few others that you may have heard before that were not on the album."
Dolly further stated, "I hope you enjoy them, and I hope you all have a happy birthday for me! LOL." Before giving her hand sign, the "Jolene" singer concluded by voicing her appreciation to her fans. She simply penned, "Thanks for everything."
Along with the announcement, the "World on Fire" songstress additionally spilled in the caption of the post, "Surprise! Stream Rockstar Deluxe wherever you get your music." Near the end of it, she added a red heart and flame emojis.
After sharing the news, Dolly was showered with heartwarming online responses from Instagram users. Among them was actress Jodie Sweetin, who deemed the singer her "twin" by writing in the comments section, "Happy birthday to my birthday twin!!! 'What Would Dolly Parton Do?' Is a question I ask myself DAILY!!!" adding a slew of red heart emojis.
Another user exclaimed, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOLLY!! THANK YOU FOR MAKING THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE!!" Similarly, a third gushed, "Happy Birthday Dolly!!! You are a gift to us all!!" A fourth added, "Happy birthday Mother Dolly may your day be filled we happiness and love."
The surprise songs were released after Dolly dropped her rock-inspired album "Rockstar", which featured twenty covers and nine original songs, in November 2023. A few months ahead of the release, she said in a press release, "I'm so excited to finally present my first Rock and Roll album Rockstar!"
"I am very honored and privileged to have worked with some of the greatest iconic singers and musicians of all time and to be able to sing all the iconic songs throughout the album was a joy beyond measure," she continued. "I hope everybody enjoys the album as much as I've enjoyed putting it together!" she added."
