Meanwhile, the Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Comedy Series nominees for the upcoming 2024 DGA Awards include 'Ted Lasso', 'Barry' and 'The Bear'.

AceShowbiz - The Directors Guild of America (DGA) unveiled its nominations for the 2024 DGA Awards where it will honor best works in the television, commercial as well as documentary departments. In TV categories, HBO's "Succession" leads the packs after earning four nominations.

The series is nominated for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Dramatic Series for four episodes, "Rehearsal" (Becky Martin), "Connor's Wedding" (Mark Mylod), "Tailgate Party" (Robert Pulcini and Shari Springer Berman) and "America Decides" (Andrij Parekh). Also in the running for the award is "The Last of Us" with its Peter Hoar-directed episode "Long, Long Time".

In Comedy series, the nominees include "Ted Lasso" for "La Locker Room Aux Folles" (Erica Dunton) and "So Long, Farewell" (Declan Lowney), "Barry" for "Wow" (Bill Hader), "The Bear" for "Fishes" (Christopher Storer) and "Honeydew" (Ramy Youssef).

Netflix's "All the Light We Cannot See" is additionally nominated this year. The show is up for Movies for Television and Limited Series category, going against "Lesson in Chemistry" and "Daisy Jones & the Six".

"Rainn Wilson and the Geography of Bliss", "The Golden Bachelor", "Project Greenlight: A New Generation", "Lego Masters" and "American Ninja Warrior" are nominated for Reality Programs category. Meanwhile, Variety/Talk/News/Sports - Regularly Scheduled Programming nominees are "Real Time with Bill Maher", "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert", "Saturday Night Live", "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah" and "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver".

As for the Documentary categories, "Bobi Wine: The People's President" will go against "20 Days in Mariupol", "Beyond Utopia", "Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie" and "Kokomo City".

The 2024 Directors Guild of America Awards will present its awards to the winners at the ceremony on February 10 at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. Find out the movie nominees here.
