AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez has finally broken her silence on the 2024 Golden Globes drama. Denying that she was gossiping about Kylie Jenner with Taylor Swift at the annual event, the "Only Murders in the Building" revealed what she really told her BFF at the Sunday, January 7 ceremony.
The 31-year-old offered her clarification when commenting on E! News' Instagram post on Tuesday. "Noooooo I told Taylor about two of my friends who hooked up. Not that that's anyone business," she wrote underneath a post titled, "Was Selena Gomez Gossiping About Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet at Golden Globes? Here's the Truth."
An insider previously squashed the rumors to PEOPLE. "She was absolutely not referencing anything about Timothee or Kylie and she never even saw or spoke to them," the source told the publication.
While the audio was inaudible in most part, some lip-readers speculated that Selena told her friends that Kylie Jenner did not allow her to take a picture with Timothee Chalamet. "I asked for a picture with him, and she (Kylie Jenner) said no," the former Disney darling appeared to say to Taylor and Keleigh.
When attending the 2024 Golden Globes, Selena was seen visiting her BFF Taylor at her table, where she was seated next to Miles Teller's wife Keleigh Sperry. While the audio was inaudible for the most part, some lip-readers speculated that Selena told her friends that Kylie did not allow her to take a picture with Timothee.
