Critics flooded the comments section of Kim's latest Instagram post featuring a video of her extravagant maze of snowy evergreen trees. "Why are you still insisting on shoving your distasteful lack of self awareness down peoples throats. Wake up," one wrote to the mom of four.
"The amount of $ spent on this could've helped so many…," someone added. Echoing the sentiment, one other wrote, "All that money you spent on that bull crap you could help people that really need it." Similarly, one person said, "With the money that was spent with this spectacle could you not have perhaps toned it down just a smudge and donated a few million dollars to 100 poor families."
One user dubbed "The Kardashians" star's over-the-top snowy layout "so wasteful." One other called out the former wife of Kanye West for being "out of touch with reality."
Bethenny Frankel was also among Kim's critics. "The Real Housewives of New York City" alum took to her Instagram account to share a video of her mocking the KKW Beauty founder's Christmas decor, which included snow-covered Christmas trees lining up in a hallway inside her $60 million mansion in Los Angeles.
In the said video, the former Bravo star was seen filming herself while enjoying a holiday in Aspen. As she showed the vast number of fluffy white snow-covered trees behind her, Bethenny joked, "Want to see Kim Kardashian's living room? I'm here right now."
The Skinnygirl mogul sarcastically added, "She did a good job with the decorations, don't you think? God, I'm so glad she invited me. This looks really good Kim. Honestly, it's some of your best work. Happy holidays!"
In the caption, meanwhile, the 53-year-old wrote, "No one does holiday decorations like the Kardashians… Happy Holidays! #kimkardashian #holidaydecor #keepitreal #humor #snow #happyholidays #holidays." She also stressed that this wasn't a "shade," but "just humor."
