AceShowbiz - Shannon Sharpe has landed in hot water following his controversial remarks about Megan Thee Stallion. After making sexual comments about the raptress, the former Denver Broncos tight end was slammed over his "inappropriate" statements.
On Monday, November 28, the 55-year-old athlete faced criticisms from social media users via X, formerly known as Twitter, after bluntly voicing his attraction towards Megan. One X user criticized, "Love Shannon, but this is wildly inappropriate. He is employed by ESPN. They don't play that, he needs to tone it down on these types of comments. It's not the 90s anymore."
The backlash did not end there. Another joined in, "In light of all the lawsuits, I just want men to chill for a min. Like take a step back from the overt/public sex talk and stories and find something safe to chat about." Meanwhile, a third asked, "I'm far from a prude but this is so cringe. Like when did it be acceptable to talk about people like this?"
A fourth penned, "Cuz me and my homie right now tombout Shannon sharpe podcast. That lil ugly mf be outta control. U is not posed to be talking out loud publicly about how u would have Megan the stallion stretched out. Cmon now big dog u50 yrs old objectifying women like that for kids to see."
Shannon made the controversial comments when he had a chat with Chad Ochocinco on the "Nightcap" show. On Sunday, November 26, a short clip from their conversation was uploaded via X. In the footage, Shannon and Chad were talking about Megan after Chad mentioned her "Stallion" moniker.
At one point, Shannon stated, "I'd have her stretched out like quarter to three." Not stopping there, he also said, "I do it three ways, Ocho: deep, hard and continuously. I'd have her opening up like saloon doors."
Shannon's remarks came after Megan declared that she walked away from her bedroom antics. During an Instagram Live, she noted that she is "turning over a new leaf." She shared, "I'm stingy with the cootie cat. I'm not a freak anymore. I'm done. I'm done with the streets. So toxic in the streets. I'm tired with the streets."
