On Thursday, November 23, the 77-year-old took the stage of AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, for The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Kickoff Halftime Show during the Dallas Cowboys game against the Washington Commanders. She kicked things off by singing her hit "Jolene", before moving to "9 to 5" and her cover of Queen's "We Are the Champions".

Many on social media have since complimented Dolly. "Joe Biden is 81. Donald Trump is 77. If we have to elect an old person, let it be Dolly Parton," one person quipped, while another declared, "Dolly Parton is a god damn national treasure."
