AceShowbiz - This year's Thanksgiving is very special to Erin Foster. To celebrate the holiday, the writer and performer announced on social media that she and her husband Simon Tikhman are expecting their first child together.
On Thursday, November 23, the 41-year-old shared a photo of herself standing with her hands supporting her back. Her spouse, meanwhile, smiled widely while looking over at her growing baby bump.
In the caption, Erin wrote, "It feels like we need something positive right now, so I'd like to offer something. I'm pregnant!" Simon then reshared the post on Instagram Story and gushed, "Thankful!!!"
The post has since been flooded with positive feedback. Among those leaving a gushing comment was Katy Perry, who wrote, "Your angel is here." Courteney Cox exclaimed, "Erin!! I am so happy for you two!! This is the best news ever," while Gigi Hadid raved, "YAY!!!!!"
Back in July, the daughter of David Foster sparked pregnancy speculation after posting an airplane selfie. She captioned it, "Can you imagine how insane I'm going to be as a MOTHER!?"
Many have since sent out congratulatory messages to Erin. It prompted the entrepreneur to set the record straight by saying, "Guys, I'm not pregnant. I said WHEN!! Delete all your nice DMs to me."
Erin and Simon got married in December 2019 in a glamorous New Year's Eve ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee, just four months after becoming engaged. She was escorted down the aisle by her Grammy Award-winning father, as guests including close pal Kate Hudson and designer Rachel Zoe looked on. Also in attendance was Erin's mother Rebecca Dyer, her new stepmum, singer/actress Katharine McPhee, and big sister and business partner Sara Foster.
