Aside from the 31-year-old Migos star, a man named Daveon Clark also lists YRN Murk as the defendant in his lawsuit as he claims the two rappers assaulted him at 2021 ComplexCon.

AceShowbiz - Offset has been dragged to court over an incident that took place almost two years ago. The Migos star has been sued by a man named Daveon Clark for allegedly assaulting him at ComplexCon.

Aside from the 31-year-old emcee, Daveon also listed YRN Murk as the defendant. The two musicians reportedly face charges of assault, battery, international infliction of emotional distress, and negligence.

In court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Daveon stated he was working as a private security guard at the November 7, 2021, event. Unfortunately, things turned ugly at the Long Beach festival after the plaintiff was reportedly told not to let any more guests inside.

Daveon claimed YRN Murk spit on him after the latter was denied entry, prompting other security guards to step in by pushing YRN back. The rapper, however, proceeded to punch Daveon.

The plaintiff said he attempted to defend himself from the "onslaught when" Offset "approached him and struck him." The former additionally noted that "Offset's attack was then quickly followed by a punch from" another unknown man.

Other security guards allegedly failed to prevent the attack and instead "exacerbated [Daveon's] position by restraining him; allowing Defendants Offset and YRN Murk to continue their physical attacks while Plaintiff was prevented from protecting himself." As a result, the plaintiff suffered severe bodily injuries, including mental anguish.

Noting that he has racked up medical bills due to the "unlawful conduct of the Defendants," Daveon added that he suffered "lost earnings and a lost capacity to earn income, and special damages in sum to be proven at trial." Now, he's seeking unspecified damages.

While Offset has yet to respond to the lawsuit, he has addressed the incident. "I wasn't fighting at ComplexCon. I stepped in to break up a fight caused by a booth's security," the husband of Cardi B explained. "The story is false and overshadows why I'm a regular at ComplexCon. I was there to support the culture and emerging brands and designers. I'm focused on that. I'm in a positive space. Appreciate the concern."
