Melanie Martin and her 24-month-old son Prince run into the 'I Want Candy' singer's twin sister Angel when they visit his grave site at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills.

AceShowbiz - Aaron Carter's son visited the late singer's grave on his death anniversary. The former teen pop star's ex-fiancee Melanie Martin took their son Prince to Aaron's grave site at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills exactly one year after his death.

On Sunday, November 5, Melanie and Prince were seen stopping by Aaron's headstone at the cemetery in Southern California. Once there, they were greeted by Aaron's twin sister Angel who arrived earlier, according to TMZ.

In addition to Aaron's family, the outlet reports that a number of fans showed up to pay their respects to the late singer. They were leaving behind candles and colorful flowers around his headstone which apparently piqued Prince's curiosity.

The 23-month-old toddler reportedly walked up to his father's gravestone and counted all the 20 candles left by fans during their visit. Melanie and her son reportedly stuck around until the cemetery closed in order to spend a private moment at Aaron's grave.

Aaron died at his home in Lancaster, California on November 5, 2022 at age 34. His body was found in his bathtub by a housekeeper. His cause of death was ruled as drowning after inhaling difluoroethane and taking alprazolam. He was cremated before his ashes were interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

In October, a new headstone was installed on the "Crush on You" singer's grave. It features an oval portrait of the late star and reads, "In Loving Memory AARON CARTER 1987-2022 Beloved Brother, Son, Friend & Father Of Prince Carter."

"He adored his fans, and I know how much this would mean to him now having a final resting place where we could all celebrate his life," Angel wrote on Instagram after the new portrait was installed. "I invite you to visit, share your memories, and never forget who Aaron was deep down."

Meanwhile, Aaron's older brother Nick Carter recently said that he's still trying to process his younger brother's passing ahead of the death anniversary. "It's still unbelievable to me. I'm still processing the whole situation and trying to make sense of it - because it hasn't. But I'm hoping that one day I can make sense of it all," he told E! News earlier this month.
