AceShowbiz - Congratulations are in order for P. J. Washington and Alisah Chanel. The Charlotte Hornets player and his fiancee finally tied the knot after dating for more than two years.
On Saturday, October 28, the 25-year-old and his now-wife shared on Instagram a number of pictures from their nuptials. The first snap showed the newlyweds smiling to the camera as they flaunted their wedding rings.
Another image, meanwhile, saw the couple smiling ear-to-ear as they looked at each other lovingly in front of floral decoration. In the caption, they simply wrote, "THE WASHINGTONS Part 1," adding a wedding ring and white heart emojis.
P. J. and Alisah got engaged back in August 2022. At the time, the Instagram model shared a video of her beautiful engagement ring. Alongside the clip, which was soundtracked by Jagged Edge's 1999 hit single "Let's Get Married", she raved, "Soooooo…..this happened this morning. Issa fiancee. WOW babe you did that…I LOVE YOU."
One month prior to the engagement, Alisah informed her online devotees that she and P. J. were expecting their first child together. Marking her 25th birthday on July 31, she posted several pictures from her maternity photo shoot. In the snaps, she looked glowing as she showed off her baby bump while wearing a revealing bejeweled dress.
Alisah didn't say anything about the pregnancy in the caption, but appeared to refer to the yet-to-be-born baby as she wrote, "God's greatest gift," adding, "This is Chapter 25." P. J. responded by writing in the comment, "I love u."
P. J. and Alisah began dating in September 2021 after he called it quits with his ex and baby mama, Brittany Renner. The former couple broke up in July of that year, just two months after welcoming their first child together.
