The 'Kardashians' star, who turned 43 on October 21, lands in hot water after she reposts a birthday shout-out for her that features the Grammy-winning star's 'Speak Now (Taylor's Version)'.

AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian was celebrating her milestone, but that didn't mean the Internet would have mercy on her. "The Kardashians" star landed in hot water after she reposted a birthday shout-out for her that featured Taylor Swift's song.

On Saturday, October 21, Kim took to her Instagram account to re-share a friend's post wishing her a happy birthday. Set to Taylor's "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)", the post read, "happy birthday Kimmy K @kimkardashian." While Kim wasn't the only one picking the song, fans blasted the reality TV star for the audio choice.

"Kim acting so innocent as if she didn't try to ruin woman's career a few years ago," one fan said in an Instagram comment, referring to Taylor's drama with Kim and her then-husband Kanye West. Someone else pointed out, "To this day kim hasn't apologized btw and called taylor a liar again in 2020."

Accusing Kim of chasing clout, another added, "Oh she wants some clout to from Taylor, that woman and her clan better stay the hell away from tay s."

Some others, meanwhile, defended the SKIMS founder. "Yall, i think they all moved on, cause kanye was the main problem between them so now that kim divorced with him she maybe rethinking everything she did," one fan noted. Echoing the sentiment, one other also urged people to move on.

Back to Kim's lavish 43rd birthday party, the mom of four looked stunning in a cherry red, strappy bodycon dress. She pulled a busty look as the ensemble featured a wide plunging neckline and red straps.

The dress also had small cutouts which trailed down the floor-length piece. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" alum completed her look with black sunglasses, strappy orange heels and a small, black leather handbag.

Her sister Khloe Kardashian, meanwhile, arrived in a face mask of the birthday girl. She shared a picture of her sporting the face mask in an Instagram birthday tribute, prompting fans to accuse Khloe of shading Kim.

The Good American founder immediately set the record straight. "I did not think I would have to explain this, but the first photo is of me wearing a mask of my sister's face," the mom of two explained.

"To everyone that's confused not knowing she had a tattoo, she does not. To everyone saying I posted a really ugly, it's of me wearing a face mask lol everything will be ok kids! I promise," she continued. She concluded, "Enjoy your weekend and don't forget to wish @kimkardashian a very happy birthday."
