After the daughter of David Foster claims that the 'Chicago P.D.' star had an affair with her then-boyfriend Chad, Hilarie stands by her 'sister' and 'One Tree Hill' co-star by calling the allegation 'hurtful.'

AceShowbiz - Hilarie Burton sticks up for "sister" Sophia Bush amid Erin Foster's "hurtful" allegation that Chad Michael Murray cheated on her with the "Good Sam" actress during their relationship. Having faith in her former "One Tree Hill" co-star, Hilarie has clapped back at the "cringe" allegation made by the writer.
Making use of her Instagram Story, the "Grey's Anatomy" alum wrote on Friday, October 20 along with a screenshot of an article detailing Erin's claims, "Ooof. Cringe. I got off my red eye flight home and multiple people had sent me this headline."
Claiming that she "had a front row seat then," the wife of Jeffrey Dean Morgan begged to differ as saying, "This wasn't it." She added, "We were all told you'd broken up which is why our guy was perusing [sic] her."
"Now this is being spun to make my sister look like a brazen harlot. And if she's anyone's harlot, it's mine!" Hilarie went on defending Sophia. She then tagged Erin to let her know that she would be "happy to discuss" the matter. "You also deserve the truth," she noted.
"There are so many unnamed sources making claims about the woman I love, so f**k it. I'll be a named source," the 41-year-old went on declaring. "Lotta internet voices being nasty; and as the person who knows the real timeline? I would be laughable if it wasn't so hurtful."
Erin dropped the allegation in a Thursday, October 19 episode of her "The World's First Podcast". She said, "He definitely did cheat on me with her in, like, a pretty egregious way. While we were living together."
The daughter of David Foster, who began dating Chad in 2001, sarcastically added that it was "pretty cool." She then joked that she was "just barely" over the alleged infidelity, before stating, "I've moved on though. I'm over it now."
It's unclear when Erin and Chad broke up. He met Sophia on the set of "One Tree Hill" in 2003 and they went public with their relationship later that year. They got engaged in 2004 and tied the knot in 2005, but their marriage was short-lived as they split after only five months of marriage.
