After Jenna Bush Hager spilled the beans that the couple was allegedly looking to buy a house together in Kansas City, Entertainment Tonight has debunked the claim.
The news outlet issued the clarification after Jenna shared the hot gossip in the Monday, October 16 episode of "Today". When talking about how "crazy" everyone is acting over the pop superstar's relationship with the NFL player, the co-host couldn't help share the news that she heard from a friend in Kansas City.
"A friend from Kansas City texted me there might be news they're buying a house," the "Hoda & Jenna" co-host excitedly said on the show. She then quickly cautioned viewers that the rumor was "not confirmed by NBC News."
When her co-host Hoda Kotb reminded her colleague that they work for a "news organization," Jenna further emphasized, "I said, 'might be,' " claiming that realtors sometimes get the tea before the public. Hoda then asked, "Is [your friend] a realtor?" Jenna admitted with a laugh, "No," before adding, "But she knows realtors."
In the meantime, Taylor and Travis have been making the most of their time before she is set to resume her sold-out "The Eras Tour" on November 17 in Brazil. The pair were spotted going on a date for the second night in a row while in New York City.
On Sunday night, October 15, the lovebirds stepped out for a romantic dinner date, during which they were packing on the PDA. They were all smiles while leaving the Waverly Inn hand-in-hand before getting into an SUV waiting outside.
While in NYC, Travis has seemingly stayed at Taylor's Tribeca apartment. The Grammy winner, meanwhile, was reportedly spending time at his Kansas City home on Friday, October 13 with her security cars being parked outside the athlete's mansion to keep a watchful eye out gawkers and trespassers.
