AceShowbiz - Ariana Grande's now-estranged husband Dalton Gomez seemingly couldn't hide his sadness after their split. The celebrity realtor was spotted looking glum in the first sighting since his and the pop star's divorce rumors emerged.
On Friday night, August 25, Dalton was photographed at a Barney's Beanery in West Hollywood. Sources told TMZ that the 28-year-old was hanging out with a group of people, shooting pool.
In a photo published by the outlet, Dalton's wedding ring was visibly absent from his finger. According to sources, the real estate broker "looked incredibly sad the whole time he was there."
Ariana sparked speculation of having a marital rift with Dalton after ditching her wedding ring at Wimbledon in July. Page Six later claimed, "They came to the decision together. They were having problems before January, but they want to remain best friends. They've been really good friends throughout the entire process, and their friends and families have been trying to protect them."
Later that month, a source told Entertainment Tonight, "Dalton is having a hard time after his breakup with Ariana. It has been a difficult time for him because he wanted to make things work." The source added, "He still has a lot of love for her and still considers her his partner, but she has moved on. Dalton's friends are encouraging him to do the same."
As for Ariana, she has been romantically linked to her "Wicked" co-star, Ethan Slater. Daily Mail claimed that the couple's romance began months before the singer's split from Dalton was made public and they were not hiding it on the set. "They were sloppy on set," the insider shared.
"They were seen being all over each other while he was still supposedly happily married to [Lilly Jay]," the infomant dished. "They were seen making out at a pub in Hampstead, and they were all over each other at Michelle Yeoh's Oscar party [in March]."
Ariana and Dalton even went on several dates with Ethan and Lilly whenever they visited their spouses on the set. "Ariana and Dalton went on double dates with Ethan and Lilly several times - and they were seen out by cast members," the source further shared. "Lilly and Ethan also met Ariana's family together, including her mom and her brother."
