The 'Watermelon Sugar' hitmaker joins the circus and tries his hand at several different acts as he appears in a series of eccentric costumes in the whimsical clip.

AceShowbiz - Harry Styles shows off his playful side in newly-released music video for his song "Daylight". Debuted on Wednesday, July 19, the surprise video sees him joining the circus and trying his hand at several different acts.

The 29-year-old singer first shows up in a dark satin getup adorned with a series of white bows while descending a sky-high ladder. He moves through the set and interacts with members of the circus troupe, who mostly wear colorful wigs and flashy outfits.

Joining in the fun, the former One Direction member stands on a knife throw target while another person practices their throw. He then juggles some balls, gets shot out of cannon in a yellow-feathered outfit, rides a unicycle in a different yellow costume and walks a tightrope. At the of the video, he rides a horse.

"Daylight" is lifted off Styles' third and latest studio album "Harry's House" that was released on May 20, 2022. The album boasts a total of 13 songs, including singles "As It Was", "Late Night Talking", "Music for a Sushi Restaurant" and "Satellite".

The album received several accolades, including two Grammy Awards for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album, as well as a Brit Award for Album of the Year.

The new music video was directed by Tanu Muino with the help of "a creative team from Ukraine." The Grammy winner previously shot a microbudget video for "Daylight" with James Corden as part of "The Late Late Show With James Corden" segment. The clip, shot on a shoestring $300 budget, saw the two Brits crashing fans' apartment in New York to film the visuals.

In the latest installment of his newsletter, Styles didn't offer a reason for the new video and simply said, "It's just a video. Just for you." He also posted on his Instagram page several behind-the-scenes photos from the music video filming.
